Microsoft responds to Halo: Reach Frame Rate Issues on Xbox One

4.5
On the heels of its introduction at this year’s E3 2015, backwards compatibility brought back Halo: Reach to a generation of Halo fans on Xbox One, though not entirely smoothly as many users have been reporting technical performance issues with the game, with Microsoft on the way for a fix.

Following numerous reports from Xbox One users from Reddit and Microsoft’s support pages, the widespread consensus is that Halo: Reach has been suffering from some frame rate issues on backwards compatibility,

Microsoft responded in a statement to Kotaku that “we’re aware some users are experiencing issues playing Halo: Reach via Xbox One Backward Compatibility,” with the company continuing that “the Xbox engineering team is currently looking into the issues and are working to address them.”

Halo: Reach was originally revealed as a backwards compatible title on Xbox One earlier this year, with it being introduced to the service this month.

lol, loses frames on the "next-gen" console, but not on it's predecessor.

Good to see Microsoft releasing a statement about this. Halo Reach has always been a fun game to play with friends and having an issue with the frame rate was very annoying to deal with.

Glad they're doing there best to fix this.

Nice to see them putting in an effort to fix the issues.

Got to give it to them for trying to make it work.

people give microsoft a lot of flak but they really do listen to their customers and try and create a smooth immersive experience

i'd hope they would respond to the issue. Halo is a huge franchise & reach is a good game from the series.

I don't even play halo so this don't affect me at all.

Nodus Rather than Halo Reach they should of brought back either 3 or 2, much better Halo's in my opinion

There all in the tmcc this is the missing link bud :)

Do you not remember how bad TMCC was when it released and still is. I'd rather play the older versions then some crappy port. They even stated after "Trying" to fix the game they had no idea what was wrong.
