Call of Duty: Black Ops II still has 12 million monthly active users

Activision will be confident ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops III's impending release. Recent announcements from Activision and EA have revealed that 2012’s Black Ops II receives more monthly active users than EA’s previous two Battlefield titles combined.

The average figure of 12 million monthly active users was taken over the last quarter, which is incredibly impressive considering the game is only available on PC and last-gen consoles.

Among the accolades that the ageing FPS can boast are a place on Steam’s top 100 most-played games list.

Arguably Activision’s favourite piece of news will have come from competitor EA. The Battlefield publishers recently announced combined monthly active user base for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline of 6 million. That’s half the users that the three-year-old Call of Duty: Black Ops II can claim.

Yeah, even other cods are going down a lot. I went on AW , and only could find Team Deathmatch. BO3 really is sucking up all those COD Players. :P

Apart from Bo3, this was the last CoD that had decent MP, Ghosts and AW weren't very enjoyable.

Zombies is the only thing I do on there, multiplayer kinda just came and went, yeah I got to prestige master but once you do that you get bored with mp.

Yeah, I only play it for the zombies now. Multiplayer kinda died for me on that game recently.

Umm.. because BO3 is out? If anything, they would bring back BO1 since that sold the most out of all the CODS. They will most likely never bring back games plus it's not point. The game will jsut lose value again.
