Destiny: The Taken King Raid Won’t Be Available on Day One

The Taken King, the latest and largest expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is launching on September 15, 2015. The new expansion adds new weapons, story missions, increases the level cap and includes a new raid called ‘The King’s Fall’. It seems now however, that the newest raid will not be playable the same day the rest of the content is available.

Raids in Destiny are team-based missions that require a great deal of skill, planning and time. “The King’s Fall” is most likely a high-level mission and may have been delayed to give players more time to level up their characters. However, no reason is given for the delay and no estimate of the raid’s release has been offered, even if Bungie apparently already know when it will be released.

Destiny: The Taken King will be available on September 15, 2015.

There's no way anyone could do it on day one anyways there's no doubt that it will be a ~36-37 raid so...

Honstley doesn't matter because ur level is going to up by exp and highly doubt their will be any 40s first weekaybe tho but you have other stuff to do such as get new weapons and armor not to mention find artifacts and what class item works best for you.

Considering its one of the largest gaming communities, yes. When they did the twitch stream to show off what the dlc will have, it was one of the most, if not the most, viewed stream on twitch history, iirc.

The Taken King is real dlc, not like those ripoffs called The Dark Below and House of Wolves.
