PSN maintenance scheduled for August 18

The PlayStation Network will be going down on August 18, for scheduled maintenance.

PSN will be offline for about an hour and a half on Tuesday, August 18 to undergo scheduled maintenance. The period starts at 4:30am BST and ends 6am BST, or 1:30pm AEST to 3pm AEST.

You will still be able to sign in to your profile, play games and use most apps during the maintenance. You won’t be able to access Account Management, PlayStation Video, or make purchases through the store.

So nothing major will be suspended, just make sure you know this ahead of time.

Well not everyone checks the news section.

I don't 'check' the news section, i just find it slightly difficult to miss the huge thumbnails and bold titles on the home page

Yeah most people don't but you always have those few people.

Tbh I never look at the homepage much once I get on I go straight to forums then later on go to News and other stuff haha

wrong psn is never always down and at less sony cares and they try to fix their crap unlike xbox not starting a console war it just annoys me when people say this because its not true sure its down alot thats cause the care

Its good that you can play games throughout the maintenance , other wise it woulda sucked for PS users
