Xbox One DVR Feature Allows you to Record Television While Playing

4.7
Microsoft announced today at Gamescom 2015 that your Xbox One will now be able to record local TV onto the console so that you may view it later, even while playing a game. This feature has been much requested as the Xbox One can act as a cable box of sorts allowing people to previously watch but not locally record their television.

You can see some of the feature in the images below, and look forward to the feature (free for everyone) coming sometime in 2016 and can be streamed to your Windows 10 device.

Rogers also has an option like this, recording live tv and watching it later. The only problem with this is that xbox space will run up quick, but you can delete it after you're done watching it so the problem has a easy solution

This is a great idea but... if you still only have the 500GB console and no external HDD then expect your hard drive to fill up quick.
