Dead Island Definitive Edition Leaked By Retailer

4.6
Deep Silver may be working on a definitive edition of Dead Island, that’s if a listing from South African retailer Loot.co.za is to be believed.
Dead Island Definitive Edition is listed to be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and is scheduled to be released on November 13, 2015. The listing doesn’t disclose what we can expect from the Definitive Edition, such as graphical improvements, the inclusion of DLC content, or if Dead Island: Riptide will also be included.

Today’s news just comes days after Deep Silver announced it was pulling Yager from developing Dead Island 2. Considering how much longer it’ll take for fans of the series to get the sequel, releasing a Definitive Edition would ensure we don’t forget about the series any time soon. Deep Silver is no stranger to offering new versions of old properties as Risen 3: Titan Lord Enhanced Edition was announced for an August release and we already saw Saints Row 4 get re-released on current gen consoles.

Dead Island is a great game I wouldn't mind seeing a remastered version.

Also after 2 years of the console being out its now next gen anymore its current gen.

The 360 and ps3 are past gen.

Not really. The Xbox 360 and PS3 have a lot of remakes as well but after eight years there are many more new games.

Not necessarily "nothing but" ...
The main reason why is because the game creators can't keep up making enough new ones.
