Dota 2 Reborn is available right now

The beta for Dota 2 Reborn - the Source 2 reincarnation of the popular MOBA - is now live and available for you to download right this second.

The overhaul of Dota 2 was announced at the weekend, and brings a brand new interface to the game along with the graphical and technical upgrades associated with Valve’s new Source 2 engine. Dota 2 Reborn also features new custom games.

To start, make sure Dota 2 is installed. Then from the library page you’ll be able to see where you can select the Dota 2 Reborn beta from the DLC list. Each time you boot Dota 2, you’ll be asked if you want to play regular or Reborn. Any items, ranks, or friends you have will be shared between all versions.

Matchmaking will be missing, but Valve “anticipate it being turned on in a few days." It just needs a little more testing.

I've never heard of it either. But might as well try it out.

I've never played it but sure have heard a lot about it

Don't try it expecting to be good, it is one of the hardest games to learn. You will get slaughtered for months.

Miwen might buy this game after all people have been saying how good it is

its free. Seems like 3/4 of the people commenting here are posting a variation of this. But gotta get that news posts up tho.
