This looks like a decent exclusive but not the best that Playstation has to offer.

What's the last game to live up to it's expectation? I cannot think of none.

The Last of Us is one that I can think of off the top of my head. The reason most games don't reach it's expectations, is because a lot of people jump the gun and will overhype the game way too much, which when the game doesn't play out like they made the hype to seem, it's automatically "the worst game out there."
