Xbox Consoles Will Receive Early Access To GTA 5 DLC In Future

4.5
That's according to financial research site Bidnessetc, which claims various sources have confirmed that Microsoft are eager to land an early access deal for its two consoles.

It will apparently follow in the same vein as existing deals with the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare series, appearing a full month ahead of other platforms when it comes to the planned DLC packages.

It was reported earlier this year that Rockstar were working on added single-player content, following the release of Online Heists and GTA 5 for the PC.

The DLC looks set to build on the story of the three existing characters, Trevor, Michael and Franklin, who are all found to be alive and kicking after the endgame events.

The site also concludes that an announcement regarding the DLC is planned for E3 2015, while Microsoft fans 'can expect special treatment from Rockstar'.

The studio originally announced that further adventures connected with Michael, Franklin and Trevor would be released by the end of 2014, but have failed to materialise due to the workload of releasing the new improved GTA 5 for Xbox one, PS4 and PC.

Franklin actor Shawn Fonteno revealed earlier this year that he was currently finishing up GTA 5 story DLC.

Ska This isn't news at all, GTA always releases their DLC to Microsoft first.. Always have, always will.

Lets remember GTA was exclusive to PS until GTA IV when Microsoft paid $75Million to get it on their console. So yers never used to get the game let alone DLC

I'm pretty sure that Rockstar said they really enjoy the way Sony works things, which is why GTA V was shown at Playstations press conference. If this is true than Rockstar are some sneaky bastards

Excited for DLC, it will be nice but I don't like when companies do this, let their DLC be released early on a certain platform. It's all about the money, they don't care as long as they're getting paid but it's not fair for the consumers IMO. Now Sony and PC users are going to hear about the DLC from MS fans before we get to buy the DLC and it will ruin the surprise IMHO. I'll still get it, but it'll be less fun waiting a month to play it, and having already heard all about it.

Another good thing about having an xbox I guess

-LOST- They should stop worrying about DLC and put all their effort into creating another game. Unless they have some sort of amazing DLC they're going to come out with.

I believe I read somewhere that they have already started the early production stages of GTA 6. I doubt we'll see it for a least 4-5 years minimum.

I like the idea of this. I am still playing the story mode, and its awesome. I wonder how much story Rockstar is going to implement in story DLC.

This gta wil be here for a long time. I'd like to say around 4-7 more years they'll be working with this game with dlc. They will have another team working on a another game as they don't have like every team working on the same thing. They have diffrent departments, one for updates, one for game, ect.

This is not surprising as they always have done this with COD :)

Considering GTA will be here for a few more years, DLC is what they should be putting their effort into.
