Grand Theft Auto V PC Sells One Million Copies in Just a Day

4.6
GTA V has been released and according to various stats, Rockstar’s open-world title has already broken the one million sales barrier. According to Steam Spy there are currently almost one million users on Steam that own Grand Theft Auto V.

As Steam Spy noted, this figure does not include copies that were sold outside Steam. This means that retail copies or digital copies sold from other outlets are not included in this number.

Taking the worst case scenario, there are almost one million GTA V owners on Steam right now.

Now if we add PC users that got their copies from other outlets, we can safely say that GTA V has already sold more than one million copies in just a day.

Not surprised one bit. As a triple A title and a game people have been waiting for years now, this was expected. People had plenty of time to get their pre-orders in and get the money to buy the game. I cant wait to see what all the "modders" do on and with the game!

PC gamers have been deprived of this game for some time now, so the sudden achievement shouldn't come as a surprise to Rockstar.
