GTA 5 was astonishingly expensive to build.


Grand Theft Auto 5 had a total budget of $268 million, according to the latest Did You Know Gaming episode.

That means it is the fifth most expensive entertainment product of all time after inflation adjustments, and the third most expensive game. Only Destiny and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 were more expensive to build and promote.

GTA V Is such a fantastic game and you can tell they put alot of time and effort into it, I have huge respect for Rockstar all their games are always brilliant!

I'm honestly surprised that MW2 and Destiny had more money poured into them than GTA V did. Thinking about it, there was a shit ton of promotion for MW2 back in 2009 and 2010, when everyone started to get more into consoles, and gaming, especially online.

Its a great game I remember getting this on release, and they have continued to update it which is always nice to see, deserved could be higher.

Well the GTA franchise has come so far and is one of the best in all of video games. GTAV deserves that spot, maybe even higher.
