Almost 50,000 fans want Modern Warfare 2 remade for PS4 and Xbox One

A growing petition is calling for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to be remade on PS4 and Xbox One.

The petition went live four days ago and has already gathered over 47,000 signatures from like-minded players.

Created by Ramez Zahra, the petition is targeted at Activision and Infinity Ward to remake the fan-favourite. If you want to add your voice, head on over and put you name down.

Grenade launchers haven't been usable in core since MW2... I doubt, if they remake this game (which they won't), that "noob tubes" will be "op"...

I personally find that The grenade launcher in that game is very fun and should not be fixed. I mean maybe a separate server for fixed and not fixed. I loved using it and going against it. The best was when someone launches one at you and they barely miss and you lay them out. This game was extremely fun and the only COD game I actually put quite a few gameplay days into. Maybe around 20-30 cause it was just that much fun with friends. Other CODs are just not the same... Maybe cod 4 and 5 but I want to see MW2 remade with a new community to enjoy it again and fresh graphics.

I've signed this petition and I really hope something actually happens although I believe they should do a call of duty remastered similar to the one they done for halo where they have every call of duty game like from modern warfare 1 remade for the next gen consoles.

Because everyone wants to see it on the xbox one. No other reason.

Saw this petition on Facebook and support it entirely. MW2 was the last COD I enjoyed and so a remake would be insane. A COD4 remake would also be pretty cool :)
