Free 100 GB OneDrive storage deal now available globally

4.6
You might remember that a couple of weeks ago Microsoft started offering a great deal on OneDrive storage – users could get 100GB free just by using Bing Rewards. Now that deal is available to everyone.

Unfortunately, in true Microsoft fashion, the original version of this deal required users to be in the US. Luckily the offer has now been extended to everyone around the world and all you need to do is sign into you Microsoft account and follow this link.

Users will instantly receive 100 GB of free OneDrive storage, which will be available for two years. After that, folks will need to sign-up for one of the company’s paid plans.

Of course, if you’re a fan of cloud storage there’s an even better deal available through Office 365, where every plan comes with unlimited OneDrive storage.

Miss Don't think I'd ever use any of it honestly. Pretty cool though for people that would.

It's a decent gesture, I must admit.

Quite smart also considering few will actually use it yet almost everyone knows they've given it away for free, good PR

This sounds great, buisness wise it is a very smart move for Microsoft since you get it free for two years then you'll need to sign up to one of the companys paid plans. Very smart!

That's quite a lot of space considering the number of XB1 users!
