PS4 multiplayer is free this weekend in EU

Multiplayer privilages, which are usually reserved for PlayStation Plus subscribers only on PS4, will be unlocked for everyone on PS4 from this Friday, February 13 until February 15.

During this time, anyone with PlayStation Network account will be able to play online multiplayer modes in their games without the need to sign up for PS Plus.

The firm released a trailer to tease the promo weekend:

Elise That's good but why not free like PS3.

Because they're using money from subscriptions to increase the security.
PS3 is riddled with modders.

And they have to try to compete with xbox profits that why they added the pay to play feature.
