Stream Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs and tablets, later this year

4.8
Microsoft has announced that Xbox One owners will soon be able to stream their library of games to any Windows 10 device, later this year.

"With Windows 10 we will enable streaming of Xbox One games to any PC or tablet running Windows 10, later this year," Xbox boss Phil Spencer said during the Windows 10 event today. During the announcement, Spencer showcased the new feature by playing Forza on a Surface Pro 3 along with the Xbox UI on the device.

"We will treat Xbox gaming on Windows 10 with as much passion" as on the console, he added. As part of a set of gaming announcements for Microsoft's upcoming operating system refresh, Spencer also announced Fable Legends would launch on PC and allow for cross-play between the Xbox One.

Alexyy Yeah because I'm going to stream a game at 900p 30fps to my PC running a 970,

Good idea Microsoft.

No one cares about your overpriced machine. We play our consoles because they are better for us, quit trying to make yourself feel superior.

When making an argument, try to make sure your points are valid xD

PC's really aren't that expensive, especially when you consider the fact that the games are usually 20 cheaper than console, and we don't have to pay for a yearly subscription. You could build a PC that can run most games on high settings for roughly 450-500.

lmao u pc fangirls are really great

I know, lmao. Nobody here needs to know you're a virgin Alexxy/TTG Storm. Lmaaaao.

Pryzel This is such a good idea, well for tablets anyway. It's kinda pointless for PC.

Not everyone has a gaming PC.

So? If they have an xbox then they've probably got a tv as well. Other than streaming some games to a tablet streaming to a desktop just sounds stupid. I thought that was one of console gamers main arguments for why console gaming better? Honestly, there'd probably be some notice

I was thinking you would be able to change the resolution and uncapped?

It's not going to work like that. I don't see how it could. The games are just being streamed from the console. They'll still be running on it's hardware.

Ahh right must of got that part wrong then, well I don't want to play games in 30fps anyway so oh well.

Let's say that I do the stream Xbox game to the pc, dose that mean that I can join the pc master race ? #banter #trollin
It a pointless for the pc but for the tablet it's quite good as it almost makes the console portable in the house
