Advanced Warfare information revealed ahead of game's release next week

Sledgehammer Games studio head Glen Schofield has expressed his disappointment following a pre-release Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare leak.

MP1st reports that plenty of new details were revealed ahead of schedule via a gameplay livestream of a pre-release copy of the shooter.

While the livestream was shut down, the game reportedly features a new 30 Killstreak called the DNA Bomb, while players can also toggle a 'Paintball Effects' option.

The game will ship with 12 multiplayer modes. According to Charlie Intel, all 14 multiplayer map names and Hardcore modes have also been leaked, in addition to all guns, attachments and exo abilities.

"Kept it quiet 4 the fans"...How do the fans benefit from that? Leaking footage just builds hype and increases sales, something doesn't seem quite right here. Rather than looking for a retailer who broke street date, we should play "Guess Who Leaked It!" with their PR team.

What did he expect? Doesn't say anything about it not being leaked and gets disapointed when its leaked

RTGCloud i was quite disappointed my self really, Not gon' lie but i do like to find out everything about the game when it comes out. I know its my choice whether to look at it or not but its just something that is really hard to resist. I also know that this happens pretty much with every call of Duty but as much as I and everyone are keen to know everything about the new CoD, you must feel a bit for Glen. As he said it took 3 years for them but i guess its their fault for giving out copies as well. IMO.
I agree with you. I think this contributes to people loosing interest in the game. Every year there is a cycle that some cod players go through. At release they love it. Around February they can't stand it. Then when the next CoD comes out it repeats. Everything gets ruined when the games get released. I'd much rather go through the game and find things out myself. Leaks are basically like opening a Christmas present when you know what the gift is. Honestly, leaks are what is pushing the gaming industry to strictly digital downloads. It's not their fault for giving out copies of the game. It is distributors fault for not following the rules and releasing a game on the release date.

-Swift He had to know that this was going to happen. But honestly Im surprised it took as long as it did for the game to leak.

But they did a great job keep the game locked up.

took as long as it did? about 95% of games leak only 4 or so days before the release. this is 8-9 days out (depending on how long he had it before live stream)

Happens to almost every game, but I feel sorry for Glen Schofield ^, he does seem quite upset by it.

I think the game getting leaked like a week before is good, It gets people even more hyped for it and may even get more sales

Who wouldn't be disappointed if their game got leaked? Seriously, even if its CoD, the surprising features are revealed for it.

I think that's pretty hilarious tbh.
