Bungie is asking for your feedback on Destiny’s Iron Banner

4.6
Destiny’s Iron Banner event has only been live for one day, and players are discovering that -when it comes to gear stats- it’s not working as advertised.

The Iron Banner is a PVP event where your gear and armour stats will carry over to multiplayer and won’t be “balanced” to provide a level playing field, instead, everyone gets to duke it out and see who’s got the best gear.

This isn’t the case though, according to some players. Bungie has heard those comments and is soliciting feedback. “Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?” asked community manager Deej.

“Talk to me, Guardians. I know people quit games when they know they won’t win. I’m more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you.”

It’s worth noting that you currently do not incur any penalties for leaving a Crucible match in-progress.

I personally LOVE the Iron Banner and the fact that they are asking fans about how their game is going.

I like that they're asking for feedback from fans.

It truly shows they care what their players think about the game/gamemodes.

Destiny is stupid boring! There's also lithely nothing to do except for the same thing over and over and over.

raefon I have already given up on the game as it seems pointless just grinding to find gear so you can have an even playing field in PvP games.

Yes I have had no luck in finding gear and as I don't have any friends to play with some of the missions are impossible. Being level 24 for two weeks now and having found only 1 legendary item leaves me getting destroyed most of the time.

So im just waiting for Borderlands and Destiny will never be played again.

Total Fail in my opinion. Especially on PvP where its so one sided you get nothing for playing and just having some competition. Terrible idea.

I'm level 28 and that's from playing by myself for most of the game. The only time I played with people is for the Vault of Glass raid. I can easily solo every mission, though it might take around 30 minutes.

JRMH They should make it a seperate game mode, it sounds like. Idk imo Destiny is boring though.

it already is a separate game mode.

Someone made a video using a level 1 gun. His character was level 4 and he was going up against level 21s and up, killing them in 4-5 shots. The high levels have over 1k defence so how come a level 4 can kill them so quick when the whole reason for Iron Banner event is if you have boss gear your going to wreck house! The event is exactly the same as the crucible but different rewards.
