Spencer: Screenshots, themes and more coming to Xbox One

4.4
Xbox boss Phil Spencer has announced that dashboard customization options such as themes and background images will arrive on Xbox One in the future. Spencer also confirmed the ability to take screenshots, something he says people "beat us up" about, will come in future updates.

"We're going to deliver on them. I can't give you a when yet, but people should know they are coming," Spencer told The Inner Circle Podcast, available in the video above at 37m 3sec.

Fun Fact: The Xbox logo used at the start of this video is the old Horizon logo.

Should be cool having themes to the dash, can't wait :)

I'm ready for them to add themes... I like to spice up my background with bright, eye-catching things.

Glad to hear this.

Lol they used the old horizon logo! Why?

Them adding themes sounds awesome tired of looking at a white background.

Buying the Xbox One was like buying a different console with higher specs by a longshot, but not a next gen console. Like the Xbox Team was new to console OS, ugh. Buying it now is a waste of money because it's practically incomplete plus the price will go down before 2016 so.

Sweet. I was hoping I could customize this dashboard, it's so bland.

I cant wait for this. It still amazes me how many steps back both consoles took from the previous generation.
