Hacker group Lizard Squad reportedly targets CoD, Destiny, EA servers

Hacker group Lizard Squad claims to be responsible for bringing down the servers for a number of Activision and EA games over the weekend.

Destiny and Call of Duty were both seemingly targeted with distributed denial of service attacks, although their online services are now back up and running. Lizard Squad subsequently claimed to have taken down EA servers too.

According to Kotaku, it's the second time this month that Lizard Squad has targeted Activision's popular shooter games.

Miss Don't know if anyone else noticed (highly doubt it since some don't actually read the article), but half the article is the same thing word for word. Just letting you know, whomever wrote the article.

Anyways, I doubt they did it. They're most likely trying to come off as tough.


The article is taken from another website then posted here. Whoever posted the article here didn't even bother checking for errors.

These are the same guys who took down the league servers every night for about a month straight. Wouldn't doubt it if they moved onto consoles.

Well i honestly thought it was funny, but i was playing Destiny when they hacked it but i wasnt mad.

Just hopefully nothing really bad will happen. Hopefully everything will be up and running as usual
