Updated: Xbox Live Service Issues Xbox One and Xbox 360, Sign in issues

Here's what the latest Xbox Live service alert does say: "Are you experiencing issues when you try to sign into Xbox Live? Our team is already investigating these reports and we hope to get things back to normal ASAP! Thanks for your patience while we get this worked out. We'll update you on our progress in 30 minutes."

The alert may stop you doing one or all of the following while playing games on Xbox 360 and Xbox One: Managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing and signing into Xbox One.

At the time of writing the alerts are the following
Xbox One - Signing into Xbox Live
Xbox 360 - Joining other Xbox Live members in online games

Update:
Xbox.com has become unstable when signing in and checking messages.

Update 2: Everything seems back to normal

I have been seeing a lot of issues with xbox live since the xbox one has came out. Hope everything gets evened out soon.

Kinda late but i had problems with connecting with a friend when this happened. Havent got back on to see if its working but hopefully it is.

I had some troubles getting into Private Chats, not getting into Parties. I unplugged my Xbox, all the cables. It seemed to work a little better after that, I don't know if it was just me or this though.

Had some issues last night getting into parties and it wasn't sorted until the early hours of the morning . Glad they have fixed it though.

And i had a few problems when i first got my Xbox but then it started to sort itself out slowly

I was on when this started being a problem. It only took about 45 minutes, and it was back up. Microsoft was on their game, or it was a minor problem. :P
