Advanced Warfare Will Have Split-Screen and 10 or 15 Prestige Levels

4.4
Dropping more details on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer, Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey took to social media to answer a few incoming questions from curious Call of Duty fans.

The details are pretty straight forward. According to Condrey, Advanced Warfare will feature split-screen play, hardcore modes, and will include either either 10 or 15 Prestige levels — the design team is “still debating” between the two numbers.

The question still remains, however, if split-screen will remain limited to two players, as has been the case in the most recent Call of Duty titles, or if it will allow for four-players at once.

In addition, Condrey answered to one questioner that the team believes they’ve “got the right balance” when it come to time-to-kill and that “it seemed validated at Gamescom,” but the studio has “still got some dev time too,” should they feel the need to make alterations.

The prestiges is somewhat difficult to choose from, 10 prestiges is a sufficient amount and requires a healthy amount of game play to achieve, but 15 prestiges offers even more reason to play. In regards to Split-screen, I think that two players for online multiplayer is sufficient, any more and it is simply too much. It is best to keep it to 2 player split-screen for online multiplayer and 4 player split-screen for offline multiplayer.

Smurfs I think they should have 10 prestiges, I think 15 is just too much. About the split-screen, it doesn't matter to me too much, but being able to have up to 4 players in split-screen would be nice.

They added the 15 prestiges to keep players playing the game and to reach an certain extent.

Boar
AudemarsPiguet They should have 10 prestiges to start with and then add the next 5

This idea is good, like Black Ops was. Have 10 out of the box, wait a few months, add 5 more, wait a few months, add 5 more. It stops people rushing to get to the highest level

I dont think it stopped people from rushing. I rushed to the 10 prestige so when they dropped more prestiges I didnt have to work to 10 then to 15.

Agreed. No matter what this game has, I will rush until the max lol

VIT I hope they prevent boosting well this time since they have SS back.

I am glad that they have split screen back , means I can boost again :trollin: no i'm only joking however, I do think they need some sort of anti boost system.
