The figure is up from up from 15 million copies in April and 14 million copies in February.

Jeff_Hanneman You do know that you can go into a store like Target and get a prepaid card to buy Minecraft instead of using a credit card?

I was thinking the same. I purchased my minecraft game from a store, i would prefer that in comparison to linking a card to my account personally.

Beet
aMio It would go up more for PC if there online purchase wasn't so hard

What are you talking about?

He's saying that some kids parents aren't very comfortable using credit cards to buy the game offline. Some people are kind of phobic like that, kind of like my parents when I bought the game back in 2011 but i forced them to make me get it xD

Dovashin Mojang targeted the kid/teen market and did a good job selling the game. Good practices.

Due to how creative you can be by building new things then there is actually no target age group, just am assessment game for any age :)

I am seriously not shocked by these figures, it was a great game. Appealing to all age groups due to creativity.

Wow, that's a lot of sales, and it looks like the sales are going up very quickly. They had 1 million sales of the PC and Mac edition of Minecraft in just 2-3 months!

Wow they made a lot of money off of that game.
