Steam Passes 8 Million Concurrent Users

If you were to check out Steam’s statistics page, you’d find a real surprise waiting: Steam has finally surpassed 8 million concurrent users as of today

The record breaking amount of users does make sense, as today happens to also be the final day of the Steam Summer sale. For comparison’s sake, here’s the chart for Steam’s active user base shown at Dev Days in January of this year:

RailDex Just a shame they have no customer relations ,real support or give a **** about their customers and they let their store become flooded with an infinite amount of **** awful indie games.


Nothing forces you to buy games that don't appeal to you... Steam just makes the process easier for those who do.

Dylan- Steam is doing really good imo it'd be better if people would stop doubting pc gaming and switch from consoles to pc.


It's not that they doubt the PC, just some people much prefer consoles over PC gaming and will do what they can to bash the PC, same with people who fight over the Xbox, PlayStation, and I guess you can throw Nintendo consoled in there if you wish, people still bash the other. I used to be an Xbox player, but I have good friends over on PC and well, I wanted to get back to PC gaming so I switched over.
