Today is the day Mortal Kombat fans have been waiting for. Marking the the end of Ed Boon’s month-long cryptic countdown to today’s announcement, today, NetherRealm Studios unveils Mortal Kombat X.

Check out the official first trailer accompanied by new music from Pittsburgh rapper, Wiz Khalifa below.

From the looks of the unveiling, one of the newest features in Mortal Kombat 9 will be making its way to its successor. This is, of course, is the X-ray special move that you can see Scorpion performing on one of his long-time nemesis, the original Sub-Zero
