Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare due for reveal May 4th

It has come to light that Activision is going to reveal their 2014 Call of Duty courtesy of Sledgehammer Games this Sunday, May 4th, at 5am Eastern via the series official website. This tidbit of news was derived from a counter that appeared on the aformentioned website touting the tagline "get ready for a new era of Call of Duty". No further details regarding the game have been released yet but we'll keep you in the loop!

I loved Modern Warfare 2. Yes it was full of "noobs" but I think it was the most addicting call of duty. To try and find that new area to control and get that Nuke before someone else does. I know I played it for almost 2 years. And I even now sometimes pop it in and get tubed all the time but I still think its fun. I think they could remake a game like Mod 2 just maybe make to different game settings. Like original MW2 and a new toned down one with more balanced everything.

Ghosts completely killed Call of Duty for me would like the next COD to be similar to the older cod games aswell!

Yeah too true. Maybe with next gen though they can make it different. I agree though if it looks like same old it's not getting bought.


I'm putting all my faith in Treyarch for future COD's. IW & sledgehammer I don't see pushing the series that far. Not trying to start a flame war, but battlefield is just going to be far superior to me compared to COD

Pin I wish they'd just remake COD4 with updated graphics. It was definitely the best COD and will be very hard to beat.
