Xbox One best-selling console in UK, but PS4 remains in control

Xbox One is the best-selling console four weeks running, according to a report on MCV. Sales are up due to three factors: shortages of PlayStation 4, a £30 price cut, and the release of Titanfall – the latter of which helped Xbox One sales increase by 96%. Despite the recent increase in sales, Sony’s PlayStation 4 is still “in control,” according to retailers, and next week’s figures may tell a different tale with a replenishment in stock. A new PS4 shipment arrived last weekend, giving the console a 72% boost in sales. MCV was informed extra stock of the console would land in stores in time for infamous: Second Son’s release – which was yesterday.

Oasis Only the stubborn old men buy PS4's to remember the good ol days, then not long after they realise nostalgia is short lived and actually they should of bought a Xbox.

you both are fanboys. I believe that PS4 is a better console that is why it was my first choice however that won't stop me from getting Xbox One sometime in near future (I've switched from xbox360 never had ps3)

Lol at the kids on this site. Give over the Xbox One is a flop along with Titanfall. I have the Xbox One & I've had every Xbox console that's came out. Can't wait to get a PS4, coming from a Xbox fan.

Not surprised as I've only heard good things about the PS4. Xbox One still has a chance though to pass em, especially if they keep doing things to boost their sales.

Im an xbox supporter and always will be.
I have nothing against Sony and i still love my PS2 but i can see them both fluctuating a fair bit and one will never be on top permanently.

Xbox has been on top for too long... Time for Sony.
