Titanfall's server stability is in Microsoft's Azure hands

4.6
According to Respawn the rise and possible fall of Titanfall's launch stability is in the very capable hands of the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The developer has stated that it is not clear what hiccups if any will occur during the title's launch, Azure is set to handle elements of Titanfall's AI hosting and various physics calculations.

One of the really nice things about it is that it isn't my problem, right?" Shiring said of potential server issues at the game's launch. "We just say [to Microsoft], here are our estimates, aim for more than that, plan for problems and make sure there are more than enough servers available -- they'll know the whole time that they need to bring more servers online.Respawn engineer Jon Shiring

Shiring went on to note that during the recently hyped Titanfall beta a back failsafe was activated when too many players logged on to the game's European servers they excess was quietly transitioned to various East Coast US data centers. Due to plans like this, Respawn is obviously sitting pretty for their hit title's launch tomorrow.

Oasis Don't understand why people are still scared of 'the cloud'. If they did a bit of research they'd know that cloud computing is actually more secure and more reliable than physical will ever be.

Agreed , the cloud is a lot more safer for personal detsils etc, it is much more secure, I prefer it

That should be fine. Microsoft know how to deal with the high demand.
