Nintendo announces March 13th eShop maintenance

4.6
This maintenance is in addition to the service's regular weekly maintenance. The eShop is expected to go down at 1PM PT March 13th and last for four hours. The company gave no exact details to explain the additional downtime yet noted both the 3DS and Wii U eShop would be affected.

Potion I rarely use the e-Shop on my 3ds so this isnt a big deal for me.

Same, even if I did though, I could just get what I want right now.

daRealRush It's supposed to last for 4 hours, that is a long time to wait.

Think about it this way, they are turning off all of their servers (takes a few minutes), then they are exchanging hard drives with updates and whatnot (takes a few hours). Then they turn on the servers again (few more minutes) and now you can play. So 4 hours is nothing for server maintenance.

Most server maintenance can last 1-6 hours on average.
