GameStop hikes price on PS4 Camera amid supposed 'high demand'

4
GameStop, US game retailer, has recently added a $10 markup to its remaining supply of PlayStation 4 Camera as supposed demand outgrows supply. The product normally retails for $59.99 and has been honored by most outlets since the console's launch but it seems GameStop had different ideas when they listed the product for $69.99. Sony has avoided commenting with exact sales figures or even opening up to offer an explanation for the obvious supply shortage of PS4 Cameras.

While we do not comment on the sales figures, shipment or monthly production quantity, PlayStation Camera remains in high demand.Sony

I think it's a waste of money to spend 69.99 on a camera that will probably be barley used. That's just my two cents on this.

Aftercast Kind of a smart play on their part.

It is always a good idea to make more money.

I personally don't think the demand is higher than the supply. I think the exact opposite actually. Wonder if it'll sell for that much at Gamestop when I can go to a Target right next door and get it for $10 cheaper, lol.

Does the camera have any useful features anyway?
