CoD: Ghosts MP demo drops on Xbox One and 360 this weekend

In a very surprising first for the series, Activision is intending to release a free multiplayer weekend for Call of Duty: Ghosts on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 7th. The demo will offer Strikezone,Warhawk, and Prison Break maps across a variety of game modes including Search and Rescue, Domination, and Team Deathmatch. For those wishing to get some co-op Extinction mode in this weekend, Activision has your back by also offering the Point of Contact map for you to try out.

The MP demo will be open to all Xbox Live members, gold or not, this weekend and concludes on Monday March 10th.

Cokes What is the reason for this? I'm pretty sure people have decided whether Ghosts was worth it or not by this point. Regardless the game isn't something that is worth it close to the release of TitianFall.


Yea it's pointless the game has been out way too long for them to do this.

I think it is great that demos of Call of Duty: Ghosts are becoming available as it gives players who may not have the game to experience the game which will likely help increase sales. As to why people seem to strongly dislike the game, I don't see why. I personally enjoy it considerably so, the Extinction game mode is fun and I can play it for hours without getting bored unlike the Zombies game mode. The multiplayer aspect of the game is also enjoyable.

OBE Not sure why there is such a low rating for this article. It seems like a smart move, they are trying everything in their power to keep players on Ghosts instead of migrating to Titanfall. We'll see how successful their attempts have been over the next few days.

Invictus I'll get the demo to try it out.


I bet you will hate playing the demo after the first 10 minutes the game is not bad it just is the multiplayer is just terrible, but the single player was great!
