March's free XBL Gold games revealed

Xbox 360 owners during the month of March will be able to grab both Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution and Dungeon Defenders for free through the Xbox Live's Games with Gold promotion.

Gold members can snag the console-specific turn-based strategy game released in 2008, Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution, between now and the 15th. The title is normally $29.99 to purchase off the Xbox Live Marketplace. Starting on the 16th through the end of the month gold members will be able to grab Dungeon Defenders through the same promotion. This title was first released in 2011 by Trendy Entertainment, a sequel is currently in development. Dungeon Defenders is normally priced at $14.99 for sale on Xbox Live.

While Gold members on the Xbox 360 have been enjoying two free games a month for sometime now, Xbox One users have yet to receive anymore news when they get some love. A few months back Microsoft released that Xbox One gamers would be getting the Games with Gold promotion "sometime later in 2014, no more relevant information has been released since then.

Dungeon Defenders is a fantastic game, most of you will love it for those who have never played it. However, there is one huge problem with the game... tons of people with modded items.

trust me, Civ is not good at all in my opinion. Age of Empires is a similar game but much better and popular. you should try it.


I personally like civilization games.. i find them to be quite different from age of empires in some aspects.


Age of empires is a real time strategy game. Civilization is a turn based grand strategy game. So right off the bat they are in two different genres. Civ revolution sucks and is not a good representation of its PC brothers. Civilization 5 with the 2 expansions is amazing.
