Possible negatives of the Xbox One headset adapter

Not all models of headsets are compatible with the upcoming head adapter, many popular headsets are flatout unusable including even the official Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and the respective Bluetooth variation. Any headset that uses the connector shown in the below is also a NO GO for usage.

A 2.5mm-to-3.5mm adapter cable is included but will only handle chat audio, if you want game audio you need additional cables.

It will work with most turtle beaches and astro's . I have The adapter already and it works great with my X12s and A40s

Well of course game volume isn't included, why even put that in the post? Also Calyx it's not $80 dollars it's $25. For an unbiased full version of this story go to ITWorld. Should be first result if you look up Xbox One headset adapter.

$80 for this is far too much, then the headset is a lot more, but worth it to use it on two consoles.

Not only do they charge for a headset adapter, but one that wont even work with a lot of high end headsets.
