Flappy Bird has stopped flapping

4.3
Flappy Bird has officially stopped flapping, it has been removed from both the Apple and Play stores when it appears the developer, Dong Nguyen, has a nervous breakdown over it's success claiming it was "ruining his life".

It is assumed that Dong will NOT be fulfilling his claim of porting Flappy Bird to Windows Phones.

Prior to Dong ceasing his Twitter presence he stated that the attention he had received stemming from his game coupled with the "stress of making $50k a day" were among the reasons he had pulled the game.

How do those who played Flappy Birds feel about this entire ordeal?

This game was my favorite. He had his reasons for taking it down. Right before it was deleted I sure a lot more people downloaded it.

I don't know how becoming rich is causing so much stress. If anything, he should become LESS stressed, as with all this money he can now live comfortably. Maybe something else is going on, I don't know.

Katsumi While i don't agree with this decision, finding it quite stupid i understand where he is coming from i guess. It would be quite stressful

Halo4 I played Flappy Bird a little and it got boring fast. Can't believe people are selling their iPhone's w/ this game installed for $1,000+.

Most people who are actually bidding on them are just messing with everyone. Nobody would legitimately buy one for over $1000

You would be surprised, I have a friend that sold a iphone 5 32GB for $1015.

Surprising, i didn't think they where worth that much at all. People are putting up early gen iPod touches for thousands of dollars just because they have been pulled in by this internet joke though, a little ridiculous if you ask me

Hes still earning the money from the app, its just not going to keep increasing now. People with the app can still play it and view the ads.

I saw one reach $100k on ebay. Not sure how legit these are. $1k seems reasonable for the nuttiest of collectors but the game was taken off stores only yesterday.
