Xbox One: first major system update due March – rumour

4.7
Xbox One is tipped to get a significant system update that will address several Xbox Live and interface issues in March, according to an alleged insider. It’s the same update discussed by Microsoft’s Marc Whitten earlier this month.

It comes from the same tipster who dated Forza Horizon 2 for September, Crackdown 3 for 2016 and Halo 2: Anniversary for November 11. Hit the links for details on each game.

The tipster posted his claims on NeoGAF initially, but The Verge has since claimed to have verified the update’s March release.

What would you like to see improved on Xbox One? Let us know below.

This update needs to add some new things, like with the controller, and maybe even a Friends Online Notification!!

Mavericks This is what the update needs to include:

Fixed Party System
Themes
Battery/Controller Indicator
Friends online notification
Storage accessibility
Faster UI
Auto sign-in without kinect
Fix problem with skype where people in game can hear you
Dobly Digital Sound

Far fetched: backwards compatibility

That seems like everything, but there is something missing. I just cannot put my finger on it right now.

Just the party system. And the UI could do with a tweak.

DLT The only thing I really want is a warning when my controller battery is low. I don't have a problem with anything else except the controller randomly dying when I'm playing.

does it now show the battery life? like in xbox 360

No, Half of the features the 360 had is missing from the Xbox One.

I wouldn't go as far as half. More like, Here and there. Interface is fine with the exception of the party system.
