Titanfall open beta 'possible', says community manager

Game currently in limited alpha trial period ahead of March release

Respawn Entertainment hasn't ruled out a Titanfall open beta, according to Abbie Heppe, community manager for both the studio and the upcoming game.

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella said in December that Respawn is considering a Titanfall beta.

The studio is currently running what it has called "a limited technical test" for the game on Xbox One. It is unclear how many users have been invited to this alpha trial.

Publisher EA has confirmed a Titanfall release date of March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The title will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Officially revealed at E3 in July 2013, Titanfall went on to be named Best of Show at the E3 Game Critics Awards.

A beta would be nice for players to experience the game before release and it would also help rule out a few bugs since players could report the bugs. Less bugs at launch= More money for Respawn :)

Yeah, me too. I am probably going to buy the game anyway but prior experience would be great for a n00b.


I agree there as im geting the game and it will give me a edge against noobs lol.


I'll be buying the game either way, I'd just like to get a feel of the game before it is released to see what I am paying for.
