WWE Network coming to consoles & mobile next month

4.5
WWE Network has been announced for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Starting next month, the service will offer a “24/7″ streaming service, bringing live wrestling pay-per-views, weekly shows and more to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One over time.

The WWE website was updated with an FAQ on the service, which explains, “WWE Network is a 24/7 streaming service with both scheduled programming and an on-demand library. WWE Network will include all 12 WWE live pay-per-view events including WrestleMania 30, groundbreaking original series, reality shows and documentaries, and the most comprehensive video-on-demand library featuring all WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-views and classic matches uncut and uncensored as well as replays of Raw and SmackDown episodes.

“Additional programming, including a live daily studio show coming this summer, and video-on-demand content will be added regularly.”

The service has only been announced for the US so far, and will cost $9.99 per month. It will begin Monday, February 24 at 9:00 am ET with a live post-show after Monday Night Raw.

It’ll launch initially on the WWE App for Kindle Fire, Android devices, iOS handhelds, Roku streaming devices, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360.

Xbox One and selected Smart TVs will receive the service in the summer.

Wel I won't be using this, but those who still watch WWE will be glad.

I have never watched wrestling or played wrestling games and I don't plan on doing so.

Yin I may have to get this as soon as it comes out. All 12 PPV's for $9.99 a month, plus over 300 past WWE, WCW, and ECW PPV's, is freaking amazing. I just hope it gets enough hits or the wrestlers may not get PPV bonuses anymore. They may have to take some PPV's off of the list in the upcoming years if they don't get enough. This is awesome though. Very excited for it.

Online streams are way easy to find for free! ;D

While that may be true, I don't do streams. It's an issue of feeling bad for not paying for it. Plus I, in general, don't want to run into a virus with all of those ads that pop on the video. Then you have cable companies that are apparently looking into things like that and pirating. Just a load of problems. I can do this WWE Network though. So cool.
