UK game charts: FIFA 14 bags Christmas number one

FIFA 14 has claimed this year’s Christmas number one in the UK, fending off the bookie’s favourite, Call of Duty: Ghosts for the title.

It’s the 14th time a FIFA game has held the title in 28 years, and the first time it’s happened since 2008.

Stex Why on earth is Ghosts number 2, so silly, I understand its on sales but come on!...It sucks!

Near enough everyone buys CoD, so that should answer your question. They didn't know how bad it is.

Some people actually enjoy ghosts like me.

Reluctant I am surprised FIFA 14 came first and not Ghosts or Battlefield 4. It's quite a shock to be honest.

Well you need to keep in mind that it was bundled with a good amount of Xbox One consoles.

The game is mainly selling just because it has the call of duty label slapped onto it. Even though many people believe that the game is of low quality it is still hugely popular either way

A lot of people actually like it, just not as many.

Ted- Well XB1's in UK and AU both got it for free so I'm guessing the sales from the counted, if not wtf.

I never thought of it that way, if they counted those sales i'm not too surprised.
