Xbox One party system improvements in the works

Microsoft is working on a number of improvements to Xbox One's party system.

Responding to suggestions on Reddit that party invites and chat features are more confusing and laborious to use than their Xbox 360 equivalents, Xbox Live director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hyrb said on Monday:

"I had a meeting today about much of this and I can say that things will get better. I can't offer a timeline of a list of what till be addressed first, but we are aware of the issue and things will get better."

A link to Xbox Feedback, a consumer website listing a number of issues and suggestions to improve the Xbox One user experience, has also been passed along to the relevant team at Microsoft, Hyrb said recently.

Having launched in 13 markets on November 22, Xbox One sales topped one million units in less than 24 hours, Microsoft claimed on Saturday.

You are an idiot. Servers may be down, 360s will not be remotely shut down. Microsoft said there will be continued support for the 360. Look here to dumb ass, in 3 years the Xbox One should be cheaper.


Thank god someone said it, I am waiting until the price goes down to $250.


The price will never be that low.
Even in 5 years when a new console comes out, that might be the rock bottom price on black friday only.


Lol the consoles are going to remain at their current price UNTIL the companies stop making games for the 360 and ps3. Which will be in 2 years. No one will even own a 360 by then.

xbox one will never be 250$ at the most i see it going to 300$. you can't compare it to last gens consoles, those came with little to no hard drive space. Xbox 360 had a 60gb and Ps3 had a 40gb HDD when they came out.


If the Xbox One really does cost $471 to produce, I don't see them selling them at $300 for a loss.


But look back 10 years ago. 10gb flash drives were over 30 dollars. Now you can buy them for around 10. Its just a matter of time until that That 400 dollars microsoft says that it costs to build will surely go down.
