EA investigating Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC issues on Xbox One

4.7
An EA representative has acknowledged reports that some users are unable to download Battlefield 4's Second Assault DLC on Xbox One.

Featuring four Battlefield 3 maps reimagined using the Frostbite 3 engine, the DLC is a timed exclusive offering on Microsoft's next-gen console.

But a number of new Battlefield Premium members have reported being unable to download Second Assault after purchasing the DLC subscription package.

EA representative EA_Rick said on Battlelog: "I know some of you have said already that it is being looked into but I wanted to just confirm it for you so you guys have a blue post to refer to. Right now all I can say is that we are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this with Microsoft. Once we have some more details I'll be sure to let you know."

Second Assault is one of five Battlefield 4 expansions due for release by the summer of 2014. They can be pre-purchased as part of the £39.99 / $50 Battlefield Premium subscription offering. The other four expansions are China Rising, Naval Strike, Dragon's Teeth and Final Stand.

They need to focus on the BF4 Crashing issue instead of this as this can be fixed and not many people notice. But the crashing issue is game breaking

Looks like this is only a small problem, and easy to fix. Hopefully EA/Dice fix this fast though...

Metered Well this is dumb, MS needs to step up it's game.
If you actually read the article, you would know that this isn't Microsofts fault...

I couldn't get it working first time, tried a second and it worked. Not a major issue for me to be honest.

I wasn't able to download dlc at first either, I just kept trying and it finally worked

LatiasPosted:

That seems like an extremely easy thing, not sure how there are issues.

I don't see why there is a problem with this.
