New Xbox One commercials target football, zombie fans

4.7
Microsoft has released a fresh pair of Xbox One TV commercials.

According to NeoGAF users, the Dead Rising 3 advert below was aired on Sunday during AMC's The Walking Dead, while the second commercial was shown during NBC's NFL Sunday Night Football.

Microsoft has confirmed a Xbox One release date of November 22, 2013 in 13 markets and a Xbox One price of £430 / $500 / $500.

The platform holder has also signed up England football captain Steven Gerrard and Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto for its Xbox One marketing campaign, which kicked off in late October.

The advertising blitz is designed to position the console as an all-in-one entertainment system and invites consumers to "jump ahead" to the next console generation by joining the Xbox One party. Spanning TV, cinema, radio, digital, social and retail marketing, the cost of the campaign will reportedly exceed $100 million (£62m).

I thought the commercials were quite entertaining but I don't think I will be buying any of these games for my Xbox One.

Thlack First one could give the wrong idea, I don't want my mom screaming "XBOX OFF" from the kitchen while I'm 30-2 in CoD or something...

How would that work when its voice and face recognition. Also to set it up u need to go into the settings first to register your voice with the account. I do understand what you mean though.

ImgBurn I love zombie games like dead rising 3

i hope this ones not timed though i always felt rushed on dead rising 2

It will be, the timer is optional

I might actually get the game then, the timer really diminished my experience with the game.

Same, I'm only getting it since there's no timer.

The timer was a big fail in my opinion, DR2 would of been a lot better if there wasn't a timer. I didn't even get that far into it without getting bored. It made it more of a chore rather than a game.

exactly i had to restart my save on like 3 different ones cuz i ran out of time from exploring

Potion These are better than the Xbox 360 commercials i used to see, they were pretty awful.

Keep in mind that 8-10 years have passed since the launch of the Xbox One. It is expected for the commercials to be at a better quality then before
