Call of Duty Ghosts current versus next-gen comparison video

4.6
Below you'll find a video comparing the current and next-gen versions of Call of Duty Ghosts.

The IGN video, which can be watched in 1080p here, puts the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game side by side. The PS4 edition is the only console version of the game to run natively at 1080p.

Today is the Call of Duty Ghosts release date on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC. The Xbox One version will launch next week.

Craig- Good, now try comparing a Gaming PC to the PS4, and then it will show true graphical power. The Next gen consoles are not that impressive at all.

Leave the PCs and consoles away from each other. they both have their goods and bads. theyre are at their own league. its like comparing a Bugatti with a Toyota. lol

Yes but their prices are about the same. So why not go for the superior platform.

The convenience of a console is nice, just plug it into your television and play from wherever. I don't want to be at a desk playing video games all the time. I like to sit back, relax and play on a big screen. Also for me personally my parents are divorced so it is really easy for me to pack up my console when going from house to house. Another thing I like about console gaming is that everyone in a lobby has a mic, all of my friends play on console and it seems to be more competitive. These are just my opinions, not hating on people who play on pc.. There is a reason why more people play call of duty and these games on console though.

Kronnoc Although the graphics may not compare to some games out there, why mention it? Call of Duty's graphics aren't amazing because the creators don't want them to be and just because new technology is avaliable doesn't mean that every recent game needs to use it. People the complain about this stuff are ridiculous.

i can't agree anymore. i personally enjoy the games when the graphics aren't amazing. to me, its telling me that they are focusing it on the actualy gameplay rather than trying to get better ratings with better graphics. who gives a poop. in call of duty's case, i just want some damn good multiplayer experiences, and i thought this call of duty has brought it so far. still early to tell

Really, we have been waiting all these years for a new console and this is what we get. Using Ghosts in a comparison video was a bad idea. CoD has the worst graphics in any current video game.

The difference already is in the FPS rate, which makes next gen stand out

Most of them look the same, except for different colour correction, a bit sharper and more effects. PC is still the way to go for now I think
