Xbox's next free game is A World Of Keflings and Iron Brigade

4.5
Microsoft has revealed the two games to be made available free for Xbox Live Gold members in November.

Xbox Live Arcade titles A World Of Keflings and Iron Brigade will be the two free games featured for November as part of Microsoft's ongoing Games With Gold offer.

A World Of Keflings will be available from Friday November 1 until November 15. Originally released in December 2010, it stars the player's Xbox avatar as a giant in the land of the Keflings, a small race of creatures.

The player has to help the Keflings create their kingdom by gathering resources, building items and monitoring their work.

Meanwhile, Iron Brigade will be available from November 16 until November 30. Originally named Trenched until a trademark issue caused the title to be changed, Iron Brigade is a part tower defence, part third-person shooter game from Double Fine Productions.

Announced at E3 in June, Games With Gold gives subscribers two free games to keep each month, with a new title available on the 1st and 16th of each month.

Originally planned to be a limited campaign to run until the end of 2013, Microsoft recently confirmed that Games With Gold would be an "ongoing benefit" with no end date planned.

October's offerings were Might & Magic Clash Of Heroes and Halo 3. The latter is still available to download for free for the remainder of today (Thursday October 31).

I didn't even bother looking at this game, looks appalling and it's pretty much just a stocking filler so that Microsoft can say that they gave away free games, but nobody wants over half the games they offer as they are boring.

Amp- I feel they should give out something better. These aren't that great. At least they gave Halo 3.

That game and DR2 were probably the only two good games.

I was glad to run out of live this month and not download these crappy games lol.

These games remind me of when XBL went down after the Christmas of 2008 for a week or so, and everyone got undertow. Literally every thing they ever give away for free seems either a way for you to buy into a franchise that has a game coming out, or just the cheapest thing going. Lets hope the new generation really levels the playing field. However, I suspect that SONY will continue to make online infrastructure mistakes like it has this generation, and MS will continue to have a policy of the most blatant attempts to milk my wallet I have ever seen. I think I'm heading more and more towards Steam.

-Robert- I wish they would release full xbox 360 games instead of arcade

they just released Halo 3, what more could you ask for.? lol

I wouldn't mind for them to bring out some good role playing games some time in the near future. I am a big RPG fan and have been a little disappointed in the lack of RPG's they have released.

OmittingCoder I like how everyone is complaining about free games. Anyway Iron Brigade is awesome. Too bad I own it already. Never played world of keflings.

While it can be thought of that way the games aren't necessarily completely 'free'. You do need to pay for a monthly subscription to be able to access them.
