This made me laugh so hard! I completely agree!

BO2 made a billion in 17 days. So not really bad considering once gta5 beats that it will be the second fastest to a billion ever. So not really a middle finger. And cod is year round. So sales wise they still win.

Quality wise they lose...sadly

Quality wise they definitely lose, they just keep pulling out the same game over and over every year with a small twist.

Yes I completely agree quality wise they lose. Cod4 was innovative for war type games, but after that they just kept adding small things not really doing anything that great. I mean it is a sequel so they can't really change much of the core game play otherwise it wouldn't be cod anymore but at least add some cool things other than dogs and fish. Either way GTAV is a great game. They did what cod didn't do. They didn't mess with the core game play, its still basically the same core as all the other gtas but they added so many new features. It will most likely be up there with bioshock infinite, last of us, and metro last light for some goty awards. I doubt it will win any goty awards category for every game, but should win for their category of game.

I thought WaW did a great job as well, it was my favourite CoD to date.

GTA V will definitely win a few awards but yah I'd think The Last of Us will win game of the year.

I actually think GTA V have a big chance to win game of the year, it have gotten so much positive feedback, everyone loves it. And more people are being able to play it, unlike Last of Us, that only PS3 players could play.

Don't ever say that. Otherwise it will turn into cod. When you release a game every year or every two years it doesn't end well. Theres not a whole lot you can do in two years that will really make it a whole "new" game. Theres a reason why this gta is going to be the best selling game ever, its because they took their time. Like look at cod, if they spent 5 years on the next cod then people would be amazed by it. That would mean ghost would be the sequel to cod 4, which might I add was extremely innovative for that time period. If you look at cod 4 and cod ghost there are some pretty major changes to the graphics and overall gameplay but if you look at it between each game it doesn't seem like much mainly cause you can't do much with just one year.

Dr-Ponyfile $800 Million wow just wow but this was to be expected a game like this that was anticipated for a while now was going to go big they smashed all the other records and it is going to be hard for other companies to even come close to it good for Rockstar and Take Two.

More people have been excited about GTA 5 over CoD: Ghosts though. Now I'm not saying CoD: Ghosts will do bad, but it might not sell as good as GTA 5 did on the first day because of the hype over GTA 5.

You know Call of Duty is one of the most played franchises in the world. I am pretty sure it will sale as good as GTA or maybe even better.

You do know that GTA has the bigger fan base and is played by more people than Call of Duty. CoD: Ghosts will not come close IMO.

Who is Undead? Why quote that. Look what has more sales, GTA series does. Who holds the records? GTA does. Which franchise is dying? Call of Duty is. As will be proved with CoD: Ghosts when the sales start becoming less.
