Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer has a space gunfight
The trailer also shows off its fair share of terrestrial battles, as well, demoing how the protagonist's squad of masked soldiers will work together to fend off an invading army. They'll do so with rappelling assassinations, trillions of dollars in property damage and the help of their trusty canine, Riley, who at one point during the trailer bites a helicopter out of the sky.
Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on Nov. 5 for current-gen platforms and Wii U, and is a launch title for PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15 and Xbox One on Nov. 22.

And? When you play the MP and cry because of how bad it is pre-orders won't mean jack.

* but sound, air pressure, (air itself), and lack of oxygen are the key factors that are missing.. :-)

Guns should be able to fire in space.. seeing as its just a pin hitting the rear casing of the bullet.. (although some automatically fired guns like the AK47 require back pressure [air] to fire the next round). The only thing that wouldn't add up in this is if you could hear the gun shot.. as there's no air for the sound waves to travail through.. :-)
Think of it like this.. Kinetic energy is still a viable factor, but sound, air pressure, (air itself), and lack of oxygen are the key factors.. :-)

Space shooter = Little kids wasting money.
Plus, a normal gun can't even shoot in space.
And what freakin sense does it make when there is people shooting in space?
NO SENSE AT ALL.
Earth is for shooting people, not space.
Get it right Infinity Worstcompanyever.
I'm crying a little bit inside reading this. Clearly school was not a major factor in someone's life.
Why wouldn't a gun be able to fire in space? In fact, in theory it would be even better in space.
1. No gravity to pull the bullet (after being fired) downwards which means that the bullet could travel further(forever unless it impacts another object).
2. Minimal to no air pressure density to slow the bullet down, so technically the bullet would fire even faster.
3. A gun needs nothing on the outside for it to work. All the chemicals react together inside the gun.
I'm guessing this game is in the future. That's what all CODs are beginning to show (a future vibe). If an enemy country sent people up into space to invade another space station/satellite then of course there would be people fighting back to protect it.
Logically it is not a "smart" idea to fire a gun inside the satellite/station because it could cause rips/holes and cause the vacuum to suck anything and everything out to compensate for the difference in pressure.
Another reason why shooting a gun in space wouldn't be recommended is because for every action there is an equal reaction. If you fire a bullet, then the force pushing the bullet forward will cause another force to push the gun backwards (including the holder).
Unless the shooter is up against the station or has a harness tied to their side then the force of the gun would send the astronaut flying backwards with every shot. And, shooting in the opposite direction doesn't necessarily mean you will stop or go back the way you came.
So again, tell me why a gun can't shoot in space?
What school other than possibly a university teaches about how guns can shoot in space?
They may not need to teach him wether a gun can fire in space in a way I agree with his comment and all the points he pointed out where all valid points and could possibly work its just going to take one person to test the theory out.

I must admit the campaign does look amazing for COD Ghosts but they do this every year I just hope it is not a let down. I enjoy playing the campaign so we will have to see what it is like when it releases.
