Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Apocalypse to premiere on MLG

Major League Gaming will host the world premiere of footage of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′s next DLC pack, Apocalypse.


The premiere will be broadcast on MLG’s website and on its Twitch channel from 6:00PM ET on August 24.

Eight pro MLG players will battle it out in MLG’s New York studio during the show, but there’ll also be an interview with Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar from Treyarch. All four maps will be shown, as will the new zombie mode.

The new DLC pack is expected on Xbox 360 on August 27, with other platforms to follow.

So PS3 will get it at the same date or is it first on XBL?


Xbox gets it a month before PS3/PC so it will be out September 27th for those.


I think they get it a bit late considering of other title releases. I wouldn't be playing it with GTA V out.


So true when GTAV comes out a lot of COD players will be playing GTAV so they may loose a big chunk of their online players for a few months or so and by then COD Ghosts will be out too.

slapshot101 This is crazy, we are going to see some really good informative gameplay 3 days before the map pack even comes out. I hope will we also see some of the multiplayer maps not just the zombies.


It'll all be scripted anyway. Meaning you'll see what they want you to see, this is just dlc marketing gone big...for those that don't have the season pass.

Oh and don't forget the Ghosts and MLG partnership so expect more of the same in the future, even if, like me, you really really really don't care and just want to play it for yourself.

the one main thing ive noticed on BO2, is the map packs all feature extremely similarly laid out maps making them boring after a short time and the zombies i find has lost its appeal, they dont feel right in the way they play or handle and i find them no fun at all yet BO1 map packs had great variety all be it some boring maps but the zombies were well laid out and epic to play no matter what
