Call of Duty Ghosts limited edition headset design and price revealed

4.5
Turtle Beach limited edition Call of Duty-themed headsets have become an annual treat for CoD fans looking to get some serious audio from their game, and this year is no different with Call of Duty: Ghosts. This time around, the headsets feature a black and white design with blue highlights and the Ghosts mask logo. Spooooooky.

Turtle Beach is releasing three models this year: the Shadow, Spectre, and Phantom. The Shadow is a wired, stero headset with an in-line amp and will cost $99.95; the Spectre is a Ghosts-branded version of the Turtle Beach SEVEN series headset with an in-line amp and will run $199.95; finally, the Phantom is a wireless Dolby surround sound headset with a programmable audio processor, and costs $299.95.

Moto2014 I don't understand why they use Turtle Beach instead of Astro. Astro headsets are superior in pretty much every way, and I'd much rather have a set of Ghosts themed Astros than TBs. I'll stick with my A40s.

Lol, Turtle Beach aren't bad.. I wouldn't say Astros are superior exactly, but yes they are good, but so are Turtle Beach.

ConnorTraps there is no need for the headset haha

im just gonna stick with my turtle beaches

exactly what i was going to say.

the headset is pointless.

It's not pointless, people can't afford turtle beaches so they'll be happy for this

These ARE turtle beaches you dope. They are exactly the same as other turtle beaches in relation to specs. Only difference is that they advertise them as "Limited edition" because they have some stupid Cod Ghosts logo on it. The x41's are like 80 bucks and they are better than the shadow version in fact.

Bubblez Looks tight but TB's break too easily

They will break because of poor care.

To be honest, over time they all break eventually, its quite frustrating.

bigchukka I don't like them, all of my tb's have broken the same way this one will. They all snap on the sides. Nice design i guess but defiantly not worth that much.

Well you must not look after yours because i've still got my turtle beach x1s from like 2009 or something and they work perfectly fine :L in fact all my turtle beaches work fine/haven't broke wtf do you do throw ur headset and rage at cod or something?

This is exactly how I feel when people say tb's just break, they don't. I've had x11's for 5 years still working and x12's still working after about 2 years.

people with broken turtle beaches must rage and break them and blame turtle beach for not making strong enough headsets that can withstand rage smashing :L

Honestly I wouldn't buy this headset. I'll just stick with my wireless headset from Microsoft.
