Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Video - "Origins"

4.7
Treyarch has released a new teaser trailer for what appears to be a new download expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

It's unclear exactly what the content entails - such is the nature of a teaser - but the video features four men and a giant mech robot. It has a solitary tagline: "Every story has a beginning...and an end."

The four men appear to be younger versions of Black Ops Zombies characters Nikolai, Dempsey, Takeo and Richtofen. That, along with the tagline and black-and-white gameplay footage would suggest a Zombies-related DLC pack set in the past.

Black Ops 2 players have so far received three major content drops; Revolution debuted on Xbox 360 in January, Uprising in April and Vengeance in July (PS3 and PC versions follow a month after Xbox DLC drops).

Origins would be the fourth and presumably last DLC expansion for Black Ops 2 before the game hands the baton over to this year's cross-gen update, Call of Duty: Ghosts, in November.

Treyarch is yet to make an official announcement.

I just want an open zombie map...

I'm not a fan of the zombies mode, but that trailer was very interesting. I would like to see where this random mech came from or what it does exactly.

by the way anyone else think that you have to have all the EE achievements from COD BO1 and BO2 in order to finish this EE?

Neuron Am I the only one who is gonna be a bit saddened when the storyline is finished, and the zombies mode is no more?

There hasn't been any good zombie maps for the storyline since Black Ops 1. Black Ops 2 Zombies has been incredibly disappointing. If the original characters aren't in this DLC, it is a waste of time. It hasn't been the same storyline since Black Ops 1. It's gone to crap. They've gotten out of hand with it. Black Ops 2 ruined zombies and I wish it didn't have to end this but I just want it to end before the screw it up even more, if that's even possible.

But why are you mad?

I'll agree that BO2 had nothing to contribute for the story line of zombies, but it was not disappointing in the least bit. It added a new story, which I liked. The maps are fun. You don't like it? Then get out.
