Xbox One controllers, headsets available for pre-order

4.6
The Xbox One controller is available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store for $59.99. The store is also offering the controller with a Play and Charge kit for $74.99, with the kit priced at $24.99 on its own. Lastly, Microsoft's Store lists its "must-have" wired headset for $24.99.

Amazon also has the Xbox One controller available for pre-order, listed for a Wednesday, November 27 release, just one day before Thanksgiving. The Microsoft Store still has the "Day One" edition of the Xbox One console listed as being available in November. Whether Amazon's date holds up remains to be seen, but the controller is also available for pre-order at GameStop and Best Buy. Sony's DualShock 4 controller for the PlayStation 4 is also available for pre-order, and is also around $60.

MoDOT I better have a headset and controller with my xbox when I go to pick it up...

Controller, yes. Headset, no. You have to buy the headset separate because the "Kinect has a built in mic" but nobody likes talking through their Kinect which is across the room in most situations

Ya they have billions of dollars but cant make a single good mic how sad.

The Microsoft mic isn't even that bad, especially if you take care of it. Now, they're no Turtle Beaches, but they aren't the worst mics.

I expect the new mics to be decent.

You can take care of it but it will go bad. The static and pop occurs on it's own. It's pathetic how you have to buy a new mic every few months.

I better be able to use my Tritton War heads **** MS mics GARBAGE.

The orignal mic is't bad, Its not as good as turtle beaches because its not a $150 mic, Its a cheap $20 piece of plastic

III_XBOI_III Lol I swear MS and Sony are getting over. I pre ordered the ps4 and xbox controller. I wonder how much the adapter will cost, can't let a good pair of Astros go to waste.

Probably $100 knowing microsoft.

MS wouldn't sell the adapter, it'd be third party, so not as much as $100

I'm pretty sure I read on this site that Microsoft is working on an adapter for the older headsets, as tweeted to a twitter user by the Xbox Support twitter account. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I hope so. No one wants to waste another 20 bucks or however much it costs for some plastic crap.

The wifi adapter is $100, so that adapter might be $$25-50.
