Xbox promo allows players to obtain unlimited Microsoft Point codes

Halifax based Scotiabank is running a promotion that rewards Canadian players with free Microsoft Points just for watching a quick video advertisement. The promotion is limited to one use per Xbox Live account, however, we have found that simply creating a new account allows you to complete the promotion again.

Follow these simple instructions to redeem your free Microsoft Points.

1. Create a new Xbox Live Silver account. If you're not Canadian, you will need to change your locale. Your locale can be changed through System Settings -> Console Settings -> Language & Locale -> Locale -> Canada.

2. On the dashboard, scroll to the "TV & Movies" section, and select the Scotiabank promotional banner.

3. Watch the video until it ends, and the first code for 100 Microsoft Points will appear.

4. Select "Get Points" from the white banner below, and you will be asked to enter your email address for another 100 Microsoft Points.

5. Enjoy your free Microsoft points

This process can be repeated multiple times, however, you will need to create a new Xbox Live account for every 200 Points you wish to redeem.

The Scotiabank promotion only keeps 11,500 codes in stock, so get them while they last!

sadly to say they wont if you read fine print on the bottom of the video. all we could do is hope they restock i can imagine they made a killer from us anyways

Well if you wanna be a smart ads it does say while supplies last but Microsoft regenerates their codes every other day for every promo and it said it at the article which you didn't read idiot

VanCity I did this and got 2k MS from this. Just a tip, when you make a new account do this then change the GT for free then you can do this again with the same account.


Thats what a lot of people did, it would save some time on getting more codes.

I'm pretty sure that they will ban you.


They will probably ban the people that exploited it the most like the ones that got 10k Microsoft Points of it, maybe the ones that only got 300 or so wont be noticed.
