Battlefield 4 is the most pre-ordered next-gen game

4.4
Battlefield 4 is currently the most pre-ordered PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game. It’s outselling not only its main rival, Call of Duty Ghosts, but also the first party launch titles from Sony and Microsoft.
According to the latest pre-order charts from VGChartz, Battlefield 4 is pre-ordered more than the PS4 launch titles such as Killzone Shadow Fall, and Microsoft titles such as Forza Motorsport 5. Suffice to say, there is huge anticipation around Battlefield 4 at this point.
Thanks to a successful E3, pre-orders have rocketed at GameStop and Amazon. The success was so great at Amazon, that they chose to bundle Battlefield 4 with some of the PlayStation 4 pre-orders.
Battlefield will launch on October 29, and pre-orders have been available for months now. A special Deluxe version includes access to the Battlefield 4 beta, which will also be available to all BF3 Premium members. BF4′s main rival this Fall, Call of Duty Ghosts, launches just a week later, so competition will be immense, just as it was in 2011 between BF3 and Modern Warfare 3.

Wavelength I'm actually surprised this is the most pre-ordered game. I thought Call of Duty would beat it.

Call of Duty is starting to get boring though, Battlefield is actually fun. BF3 is more enjoyable than playing Black Ops 2 tbh.

Thats very true

Battlefield also looses it touch after 5 or so game releases though.

Well there is still 2-3 months until the games are released. It is not certain that Battlefield 4 will win in the end

ShadowBoltDashie Good now maybe COD will begin realize something. I have been saying Battlefield 4 will outsell COD: Ghosts and this just furthers that.

With this call of duty may strive to innovate further and change their next game around. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the next call of duty after ghosts

-Tam i think this might out sell cod this time round

It will. CoD has been going downhill since Mw2.

Not necessarily. Call of duty reached it's high point of sales in Modern Warfare 3. Since then it has went on a downhill trend though. Consumers are starting to move away from the franchise and going to Battlefield, which is the second of the main 2 popular shooters

Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 were the most sold CoD games. At the time of it's release, Black Ops 1 was the most sold game in history, something MW3 didn't beat. Black Ops 1 is the best CoD. MW games are so repetitive and dumb. CoD 4 was horrid, MW 2 was crap, and MW 3 was a poor excuse for a game.

COD 4 bad? Not even, maybe now because of all the people who ruined it but before that, COD 4 was at it's best. MW2 was better than the rest of the other CODs for me though mainly because it was different from COD 4 and WaW, after MW2, COD went downhill for me.

How was CoD 4 horrid???? The simplicity in it made it so much fun, unlike the newer cods. MW2 was the best cod imo, but mw3 did suck ass.
